A static converter is a system to adjust the electric power source to a receiver in the first given convertissant.Les electric power converters were made with electric machines coupled mécaniquement.Avec the appearance of semiconductors and power electronics, with diodes, transistors, tyrhistors etc.The conversion systems are becoming increasingly éllaborés and require more machinery tournantes.C'est the era of static converters.
